It's the 864th-most popular song in bars and clubs — but number one in gyms

What music do you blast when you are trying to get into the workout zone?

For many, the answer will be Eminem's Lose Yourself, a song famed as much for its motivational lyrics (and reference to "mum's spaghetti") as its place in the 2002 drama 8 Mile.

The song is the most-requested by gym-goers who use crowdDJ, a platform from Nightlife Music that lets customers program the tunes at a particular business.

It is the most-requested song on the platform, played nearly 3,000 times in July.

However, it rarely gets a spin outside a gym — it was the 864th most-requested track in pubs, taverns and bars, but the number 1 in fitness, according to Nightlife.

The second most-requested song in gyms is Youngblood by Five Seconds of Summer, released earlier this year. The third is 50 Cent's In Da Club.
