Charlotte Crosby has revealed her daughter’s adorable name as she gave fans a first glimpse of the newborn.

The former Geordie Shore star, 32, welcomed her first child with boyfriend Jake Ankers earlier this month.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Crosby uploaded a black and white photo of her little one’s hand as she confirmed that they had decided to call her Alba Jean.

“Alba Jean Ankers. 14.10.22,” she wrote alongside the snap.

“Our hearts are so full my baby girl you have shown us a whole new meaning to life. Your perfect in absolutely every way!”

Adding: “Mammy and Daddy are so so so lucky to call you our little girl you are loved so much more then you will ever know [sic].”

Her celebrity fans were quick to rush to the comments section to offer their well-wishes.

“Congratulations!” declared former Towie star Mario Falcone, along with three red love heart emojis.

“So happy for you guys!! Sending so much love to you all,” wrote former X Factor winner Amelia Lily, followed by two red love heart emojis.

Comedian and fellow mum Katherine Ryan’s focus was elsewhere meanwhile, writing: “Fab nails,” followed by a red love heart emoji and love heart eyes emoji.

Today’s reveal came after Crosby got emotional as she opened up about motherhood the day before.

Apologising for taking a break from social media, the reality TV favourite explained in a video shared on Instagram Stories that she is “just so in love” with her new daughter.

Crosby got emotional in the clip as she described being a mum as “just absolute bliss” to her 8.2m followers.

She and Ankers have been dating for around one year, confirming that she was pregnant in May.

Her journey to motherhood has not been an easy one after she was left with compromised fertility when she suffered an ectopic pregnancy in 2016.

She had been unaware of any issues at the time, believing the pain and bleeding was just down to a heavy period.

As a result of the ectopic pregnancy, the star’s fallopian tube had ruptured and was releasing toxins into her body.
