Charlotte Crosby left 'mortified' by potential baby name as she reveals she's made big decision

Charlotte Crosby has admitted she was left 'mortified' by a potential name she had for her unborn daughter, after realising it was very similar to an offensive germ.

A few months have passed since Geordie Shore original Charlotte announced the big news that she and boyfriend Jake Ankers were expecting their first child together, having been a an item since the end of last year. Charlotte revealed her pregnancy with a touching post on Instagram, right at the same time she was announcing it to a room full of Geordie Shore stars past and present at reunion event in Newcastle.

Since then, Charlotte has been keeping her millions updated with her journey to motherhood, which included a lavish gender reveal at city centre roof top bar Above, as guests saw a heart drawn in the sky by a plane, before it was revealed to Charlotte, Jake and their family and friends that they were having a little girl.

Cameras for both Geordie Shore and the BBC were reported to be at the event, with Charlotte confirming she has been filming a documentary for the channel about her documentary. The 32-year-old has also revealed she will give birth on camera, but, ne thing she's stayed tight-lipped about has been what her baby daughter will be called.

And, while she's still not revealing the chosen name, she has spoken about one which was in contention, before being swiftly ruled out due to its similarity to another word.

Talking on her hit podcast Always On, Charlotte explained: "My little girl's name has been chosen. It's been for a long time, possibly since month two. I think she's going to be a popstar. I'm just putting that out to the universe.

Going onto the name that didn't make the cut, Charlotte continued: "There was another name....I feel nervous saying it...don't judge...Harla."

She added: "I thought it was individual but then I researched 'harlot' and it means prostitute basically. So no, that one went."
