Charlotte Crosby has Geordie Shore co-stars in tears with emotional baby reveal

Charlotte Crosby had close friends Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei in tears as she broke news of her pregnancy to her Geordie Shore co-stars with an emotional reveal, a day before the rest of the cast found out.

It was back in the spring that Sunderland born star Charlotte confirmed that she and boyfriend Jake Ankers were expecting their first child together. The 32-year-old shared her pregnancy with the world by way of a a moving Instagram post, at the same time that she was sharing her secret with Geordie Shore stars past and present at a huge reunion party in Newcastle.

MTV cameras were at city centre haunt Boiler Shop to capture the big announcement and since then Charlotte has also filmed the lavish gender reveal she and Jake threw at Newcastle rooftop bar Above, where a plane trail in the sky revealed they were having a girl, while also sharing plans to let cameras into the birth as well.

And on Tuesday night, Geordie Shore viewers got to see the sweet moment that Charlotte dropped her baby bombshell on fellow show originals Holly and Sophie who, like Charlotte, both shot to instant TV fame when Geordie Shore launched in 2011. Speaking to ChronicleLive earlier this month, Holly and Sophie admitted they had 'absolutely no clue' Charlotte was expecting, so the news came as a massive shock.

Charlotte broke her baby news to the girls by handing them a memory book, which featured photo collages of their time inside and outside of the Geordie Shore house. As the trio took a trip back into the past, Charlotte told Holly and Sophie: "I've saved the best one til last," before turning the page to reveal a scan photo. After taking a second for it to sink in, Holly and Sophie became just as emotional as Charlotte and tears started to flow.

Charlotte told them: "You don't understand how much I've wanted to tell you," with Holly saying in a piece to camera: "After everything that girl has been through, she deserves the absolute world and to know she's getting her dream come true, after everything, is just so beautiful. I couldn't wish for this to be happening to a better person."

Charlotte suffered a harrowing ectopic pregnancy back in 2016 and recalling that, Sophie commented: "I remember when Charlotte had the ectopic pregnancy, she went through hell and now she can finally say she's pregnant and is about to have a baby, is absolutely magical.
