Former Rangers star Charlie Adam has refused to rule himself out of a shock Ibrox return as he insists "you can never rule anything out."
The 35-year-old is currently captain of Dundee and remains a key member of James McPake's side who are desperate to remain in the Scottish Premiership.
But ambitious Adam has dreams of forging a coaching career and remained coy when asked whether he would welcome a call from his former employers in the wake of Steven Gerrard' s exit.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is the favourite with oddsmakers to make a return to Rangers and succeed the man who won their first title in a decade.
And Jim White put Adam on the spot when asked directly if he would fancy a role on the backroom staff of whoever is gets the job next.

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "These discussions take place, there's always names.
"In football, you know things change quickly, I am still playing but you can never rule anything out.
"Coaching is something I'm looking forward to doing when I do finish and do retire.
"Rangers are a big club, and whoever comes in will be looking to bring their own people in because Steven obviously a big staff and he's taking the majority with him, probably all of them
"Rangers will be looking to fill positions and we'll see where that goes."
