NEW DELHI: Sri Lanka announced their 16-player squad on Monday, with Charith Asalanka appointed as captain for the upcoming two-match ODI series against Australia.
The ODI matches are scheduled for Wednesday and Friday, with both being day fixtures at Colombo's Premadasa stadium. The Australian team, who landed in Sri Lanka in the previous month, have already completed their Test series commitments.

The visitors dominated the first Test match, inflicting Sri Lanka's heaviest Test defeat with an innings and 242-run margin. The Australian side secured the series with a nine-wicket triumph in the second Test at Galle on Sunday, completing a 2-0 series whitewash.
