PALAKKAD: The investigating team of police have filed a chargesheet against 10 accused SDPI and Popular Front of India (PFI) activists on Friday in the A Sanjith murder case.
Sanjith, an RSS worker, was murdered in front of his wife on November 15, 2021, at Kinassery.
The 2,186-page chargesheet was filed in the Palakkad judicial first class magistrate court. Police said that all the accused are SDPI and PFI office bearers or activists. The chargesheet against two more accused will be filed later.
"There are 350 witnesses and the investigating team screened more than 5,000 mobile calls," said DSP PC Haridas, head of the probe team.tnn
