CHANDIGARH: A 28-year-old resident of Manimajra's Indira Colony was killed and two others injured after two motorcycles collided head-on in Manimajra on Friday.
The victim is Munna Kumar. Cops said he was not wearing a helmet. The injured are Kamaljeet of Manimajra and Abhishek of Mauli Jagran. Kamaljeet said he and his friend Munna Kumar riding pillion were going towards Indira Colony around midnight. As they reached near RIMT school, Manimajra, another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction hit theirs. Abhishek was riding the bike and Kumar sitting behind him. However, Abhishek said he was forced to deviate as a water tanker was parked on the road wrongly, leading to the collision. Police registered a case against Abhishek.
