Chandigarh: Man arrested with pistol, cartridge

CHANDIGARH (Person) Police

CHANDIGARH: The UT Police crime branch arrested a man with a country-made pistol and a live cartridge in Sector 39 on Wednesday night.

Accused Akshay Sharma, alias Kakku, 32, is a resident of Sector 39.

On a tip-off, cops reached Paddy Market in the area. On seeing them, Akshay tried to flee.

During his search, police claimed to have made the recovery. He had no licence for the pistol.
