CHANDIGARH: Unidentified miscreants smashed window glass of a car and stole cash, mobile, a laptop and other items in Dhanas.
Manish Tiwari of Kharar he had gone to buy vegetables on March 8 night and parked his car near the vegetable market around 8 pm. When he returned, he found a window glass smashed and his wallet containing Rs 10,000, debit cards, Aadhaar card, a mobile phone, a laptop and two pen drives stolen.
Police registered a case under different sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). On November 22, 2021, unidentified persons stole Rs 20,000 after breaking a window glass of a Hyundai car near polytechnic college in Sector 26. On November 20, 2021, an unidentified person stole a gold chain, gold earrings and artificial jewellery after breaking the lock of an Activa scooter's dicky of a woman constable at the police lines in Sector 26.
