Aston Villa join hunt for Liverpool ace

Liverpool winger Ryan Kent has emerged as a target for promotion-hopefuls Aston Villa following an impressive campaign north of the border on loan with Rangers, the Scottish Sun reports.

The 22-year-old was Young Player of the Year for the Scottish Premiership and could now leave permanently, as spots in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team are difficult to come by.

Leeds United eye Jese Rodriguez

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United are eyeing a remarkable move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Jese Rodriguez in a bid to bolster their forward line, Spanish outlet El Desmarques reports.

The former Real Madrid man spent the second half of the season on loan with Real Betis, where he didn’t impress, and a remarkable move to the Championship is now being touted.

Derby County handed transfer blow

Promotion-hopefuls Derby County have suffered a blow in the transfer market as Croatian outlet Dnevo states Dinamo Zagreb have made a move for goalkeeper Simon Sluga.

Currently with HNK Rijeka, it has been claimed that Derby, Norwich City and Sheffield United are all keen on a move this summer.

Bristol City eye Brentford stopper

Bristol City are looking to raid fellow Championship side Brentford for the services of goalkeeper Dan Bentley, the Sun’s Alan Nixon reports , with Lee Johnson eyeing a new number one.

The 25-year-old is widely considered to be one of the finest stoppers outside of the Premier League and could prove to be a huge asset in the push for a top-six finish next season.

Middlesbrough eye free-agent addition

Managerless Middlesbrough are in the market for defensive reinforcements and are expressing an interest in Jonas Knudsen after his contract with relegated Ipswich Town expired, the Sun’s Alan Nixon states .

The 26-year-old full-back has a wealth of experience in the Championship following his time with the Tractor Boys, where he made over 140 appearances.
