Boston Celtics reserve combo guard Payton Pritchard recently reacted to being called out by rapper and NBA superfan Drake on the call of a recent Celtics win over the Toronto Raptors, Drake’s hometown team.
Pritchard related that he believes that the Canadian rapper’s comment saying that the West Linn native looks like a “crypto scammer” was meant as a joke and that he personally finds it funny. He doesn’t take it personally and doesn’t consider it a serious matter that should have him feeling some sort of way. Pritchard found out about Drake’s comment through social media and had some people send it to him. Despite the callout, the Oregon alum remains a big fan of Drake and considers him one of the best rappers and artists ever.
