Celtics’ bench steps up in impressive win over Orlando Magic

The Boston Celtics secured an impressive 128-111 victory over the Orlando Magic at TD Garden on Friday night in the first of a home-and-home series with the Magic. Key contributors included Jaylen Brown, whose aggressive play and electrifying dunks set the tone for the Celtics, and the bench, which stepped up significantly, putting up a total of 47 points.

The Celtics played with force, speed, and precision, capitalizing on mismatches and executing a fast-paced offense against a team that has given them fits in the past with their length and athleticism despite Boston being out three of their best big men. The Celtics imposed their will on both ends of the court, displaying a high level of physicality from the tip-off.

NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House, Brian Scalabrine and Amina Smith took some time after the win for the Celtics to talk over how it went down on a recent episode of ‘Postgame Live”.
