Celtic XI v Norwich City confirmed as Jenz and Mooy decisions made while Giakoumakis returns

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has selected new signings Moritz Jenz and Aaron Mooy as substitutes in their final pre-season friendly of the summer against Norwich City.

The English Championship club come to Parkhead as the final team Postecoglou's men will face before starting their Premiership title defence against Aberdeen next week. German defender Jenz arrived from Lorient on loan with an option to buy alongside midfielder Mooy who the Celtic boss knows well from his time as Australian national team manager pre-game.

He hinted both could be involved here and that has been confirmed, albeit both will need to be from the bench. Giorgos Giakoumakis returns to the squad after the arrival of his baby girl and Matt O'Riley starts in midfield amid rumours Leicester City manager Bredan Rodgers has placed him on a transfer wish list. Jenz is delighted to be in green and white and reckons he is at Scotland's biggest club.
