Celtic v Hearts TV channel, kick-off time and live stream details for Scottish Cup final

It's Scottish Cup final day, as Celtic and Hearts prepare to do battle at Hampden.

There won't be the usual celebrations for the winners, there's no fans and we're back to league action in just six days time.

However, that won't mean Robbie Neilson and Neil Lennon want to win the trophy any less.

The Hoops have a quadruple treble on the line after sweeping all before them domestically for the last four years.

For Hearts, it's the chance of a fourth Scottish Cup success in 22 years and potentially a unique double for Neilson.

He'd become the first person outside of Rangers and Celtic t have lifted the trophy as a player and a manager.

The Tynecastle boss played and scored in the shootout when the Jambos defeated Gretna in the 2006 final of the competition, when the Gorgie outfit were the top flight favourites and their opponents the plucky lower league upstarts.

It's a case of role reversal this time around as holders Celtic go into the Hampden clash bidding for a fourth successive treble despite misfiring under Lennon this season.

The Glasgow side were dumped out of the Betfred Cup by Ross County last month, ending their domestic dominance and Hearts can strike a fatal blow to their hopes of a 12th-straight trophy at the national stadium.

The tragic passing of their former cup-winning captain, Marius Zaliukas, should give Neilson's men an extra jolt of motivation, with the Jambos set to wear the number 26 on their shorts for the game in tribute.

Winning the trophy just as the Lithuanian did in 2012 would be a fitting way to mark his stellar Hearts career.
