Rapid Vienna have accepted Celtic target Isak Jansson will leave their club after they ordered him to sit out pre-season training.
And both their manager and sports director appear to have resigned themselves the winger will depart Austria imminently.
Celtic appear to be locked in a battle with newly-promoted, big-spending French club Paris FC to land the Swedish winger, as a replacement for Nicolas Kuhn, who is poised to sign for Como in a £17 million deal.
Jansson, 23, joined Rapid as Kuhn's direct replacement after his Parkhead switch in January last year.
Reports in Austria have suggested Rapid want £10 million for Jansson, despite him costing just £200,000 from Spanish Second Division side Cartagena last summer.

The player was pulled out of Rapid's pre-season training camp as a precautionary measure and when asked whether he would return later this week, said: "Let's wait and see."
And Rapid sports director Markus Katzer revealed they have already turned down a bid.
He said: "I can confirm we rejected an offer that would exceed Rapid’s transfer record."
And Rapid boss Peter Stoger is already preparing a replacement.
He pointed out: "Not all transfer plans become reality.
"But even if they do, sometimes, someone even better comes along."
