Celtic target four deals as 'very busy' transfer deadline day teased

Celtic are keen to complete four transfer deals on deadline day, with a very busy day expected at Parkhead.

According to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph, there are plans for movement in and out of the stadium before the summer window closes.

The journalist claims Celtic are hoping to finalise moves for striker Kasper Dolberg, wingers Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Sebastian Tounekti.

Quizzed on the pursuit of Dolberg after the 0-0 draw against Rangers, Brendan Rodgers said: "I don't know. I'll speak to the guys afterwards on where we're at.

"There's a number of areas where we need to freshen up and I hope we can do that."

Brendan Rodgers is also desperate to add further to his striking options, with reports that the club will aim to bring in another striker alongside Dolberg.

Rangers, Lyon and Leicester City are all thought to also be interested in Rak-Sakyi with a host of loan offers submitted to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Rangers previously had an offer for the winger turned down earlier in the window.

Celtic are also expected to lose some players on deadline day with Adam Idah set for a switch to Swansea City for a £7m fee and Yang Hyun-jun wanted by Birmingham City for upwards of £3m.

It's claimed Hayato Inamura and Stephen Welsh could also depart Celtic Park on loan with loan options possible for the pair on deadline day.
