Kasper Hogh is an inspiration to the kids of his hometown, according to Randers sports director Soren Pedersen.
And he admits the Danish Super League club's £350,000 windfall from his transfer will come as a huge bonus for them too.
Celtic have splashed out a record transfer fee of £11 million for the Danish international hitman from Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt.
Hogh was born in Randers and played for them for three years after joining from minnows Vorup FB, who also received a solidarity payment from the deal.

And Pedersen believes Hogh deserves his big transfer. He said: "It's an absolutely fantastic move for Kasper first and foremost. But it's also big for the city and for Randers FC.
"It's a seal of approval for our development of young people and encouraging for them in the future. We get some money from the transfer to Celtic, that's the rules.
"He spent most of his youth at Randers FC. We haven't received the money yet. But we are very happy about what is coming our way.
"And above all, we are proud and happy on behalf of Kasper."
