Red Star Belgrade have broken Celtic’s “invincibles” world record.
The 106 points total achieved by Brendan Rodgers’ history-making side set in 2017 was under threat from the Serbian cracks after a relentless season.
The Hoops themselves took the record away from Welsh outfit Barry Town when they went unbeaten, winning 34 of their 38 Scottish Premiership fixtures and drawing the rest.
But Red Star banged in the goals in their final three fixtures of the season to surpass Celtic and hit the 108 point mark while going unbeaten.
They won their final three games 6-0, 6-1 and 5-1 to hammer home their domestic dominance.
They won 35 of their 38 league games, scoring 114 goals and conceding just 20.
That’s eight goals more than Rodgers’ team managed, who drew against Inverness CT, Rangers, Partick Thistle and Ross County that season.
Red Star boss and former Inter Milan star Dejan Stankovic said: “It was a magnificent way to end a historic season for us.
“We still have the Cup Final to play, but congratulations to my phenomenal players and to create a world record, in this season of all seasons, has been an incredible achievement.”
