Celtic put extra Betfred Cup semi-final tickets on sale as new Hibs allocation is received

Celtic fans who missed out on a Betfred Cup semi-final ticket during the club's ballot can now buy from an additional allocation.

The Hoops sold out their initial batchfor the clash against Hibs on Saturday, November 2 with many fans unhappy they missed out.

But those supporters could now be at the game provided they meet the criteria to buy a ticket now.

That includes season ticket holders who met the original ballot criteria but missed out first time around.

They have until Monday, October 5 to buy their brief for the game as the Celtic look to make it four Betfred Cup titles in a row.

Neil Lennon's men beat Dunfermline and Partick Thistle to reach this stage of the tournament with Hibs set to be their first Premiership opposition of the season in the cup.

An extra time winner from James Forrest was needed against the Pars in August after Tom Beadling cancelled out Mikey Johnston's opener.

It was an easier path in the quarter final stage with an Olivier Ntcham double as well as goals from Vakoun Bayo, Tom Rogic and Scott Sinclair giving the Hoops a 5-0 win.
