Celtic have confirmed that a new group of academy prospects have signed their first professional contracts with the club.

The milestone marks the beginning of the next stage in each player’s development, with the aim of progressing through the ranks and ultimately breaking into the first team, a pathway successfully taken by a number of graduates in recent years.

Ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, the club announced on their website that Jacob Cameron, Lennon Watt, Warren Lyall, Cayden Anderson, Shay Forrester, Mark Harris, Jake Clements, and Rhys Brownlie have all agreed to three-year deals.

The club has congratulated the players on reaching this stage and wished them every success as they continue their journeys in the Celtic setup.

They will be looking to emulate the respective careers of those who came before them, particularly academy graduates James Forrest, Kieran Tierney, and captain Callum McGregor.

In the case of the former, Forrest is now the most decorated Celtic player in the club's history, with McGregor not far behind regarding trophy hauls at the Scottish Premiership champions.

Additionally, players such as Colby Donovan, Sean McArdle, and Jude Bonnar have made first-team appearances in recent years.
