Celtic will show their friendly against Newcastle United this weekend worldwide on the club's official TV channel.
It was previously decided that Celtic TV wouldn't stream the clash with the English Premier League giants for those in the UK and Ireland. Indeed, it was due to be the sole pre-season friendly that supporters closer to home wouldn't be able to watch.
However, in an email released to supporters today, a surprise U-turn has been made, and the game will be shown worldwide: "The Hoops are well into their pre-season preparations and the intensity is building as they take on Portuguese champions Sporting CP this evening," official correspondence read.
"It'll be a tough test for Brendan Rodgers' side and a chance for you to get a glimpse of our new signings in action live on Celtic TV.

"Subscribe to Celtic TV today and you can catch the rest of the Bhoys' pre-season schedule live wherever you are in the world, with Saturday's adidas Trophy clash against Newcastle United now available for subscribers in the UK and Ireland to watch.
"The Celts then head to Italy next week for their final two pre-season matches in the Como Cup, with Ajax first up on Thursday, July 24 (Kick-off 8:30pm)."
Celtic have already played three pre-season games up to this point, beating Queen's Park and Cork City before narrowly losing out to Estrela de Amadora at the weekend.
They return to domestic action two weeks on Sunday.
