Celtic loan star Luis Palma has escaped with a two-game ban in Poland after making a personal apology for his brutal challenge, which broke his opponent's leg.
The Honduran international is on loan at Lech Poznan after being told he has no future with Brendan Rodgers' side.
But he was widely condemned for a wild assault on Rakow Czestochowa's Zoran Arsenic, which saw him receive the red card.
Rakow manager Marek Papszun said: The players told me they could hear Zoran's bones crack after the tackle."
Scans showed he had fractured his leg and will be out for two months and Palma issued an apology after the incident.
He said: "I want to publicly apologise to Zoran Arsenic and wish to make it clear it was never my intention to hurt him.

However, they opted to leave the punishment at two games after acknowledging his public apology.
