Celtic lineup for Motherwell match confirmed as David Turnbull is included in squad

David Turnbull has been named on the bench for today's match against his former club.

Turnbull completed his move to Celtic on Thursday, and could make his debut against the club that sold him.

Neil Lennon's side are aiming to move on from their Champions League exit with a win against a Motherwell side who currently sit bottom of the table.

Odsonne Edouard remains sidelined with a thigh injury, and calf problems mean Leigh Griffiths and Mikey Johnston are ruled out again.

Speaking about Turnbull ahead of today's game, Lennon said: “I think he’s done brilliantly. We’ve had a look at him over the last few games and he’s got a real touch of class about him, which is a rarity in the modern game.

"David comes in knowing the values of the club, what it means to the supporters and what it means to the Scottish game.

"Coming here is exciting for him, it’s a challenge, and I think it’s one that he’s really looking forward to.
