Celtic fans all ask the same Vasilis Barkas Rangers question as keeper is recalled to starting line-up

Vasilis Barkas has returned to the Celtic starting line-up as Neil Lennon named his side to face Dundee United.

The Parkhead club are looking to rack up another three points to build on their recent run of form heading into derby day on Saturday.

The Northern Irishman has made three changes from the side that beat Hamilton as Christopher Jullien, Diego Laxalt and Barkas return to the fold.

The most notable addition to the line-up is Barkas, however. The keeper has been kept out the side by Conor Hazard who has impressed Neil Lennon this month, including his shootout heroics against Hearts in the Scottish Cup Final.

Barkas' inclusion against the Tangerines could be a telling move ahead of the derby at the weekend.

And that's exactly what Celtic fans are pondering.

@Shannnxmcauley said: "Barkas?? He better not be getting match fit for the 2nd. Hazard better start on Saturday."

@PaulGall67 tweeted: "Hope Barkas has a good game, builds his confidence & finally becomes the player we hoped. Before any of ye start aye I’ve seen him and blamed him for goals but I never want any player in a Celtic top to be s****."

@RyanStevenF added: "Barkas back in goals for Saturday then?"

@LewisLaird01 tweeted: "Feels like this team could be telling when it comes to Saturdays game too Barkas the key one with Jullien and Laxalt also coming into the side again Three points needed here, let’s get a convincing victory."

@JungleLion_ added: "So that’s Barkas in on Saturday."

@liam27994371 said: "Absolute madness to drop Hazard when we are going into an Old Firm game at the weekend and he will be starting. Just kept a clean sheet and won us the Scottish Cup with 2 great saves."
