Celtic discover Europa League group stage opponents as Neil Lennon's side get tough draw

Celtic will face Milan, Sparta Prague and Lille in their Europa League group.

The Hoops were drawn in Group H as they learned their fate in today's draw.

Celtic were seeded in pot 1 after their 1-0 win over Sarajevo on Thursday night as Copenhagen, Basel, Sporting and Wolfsburg were all knocked out.

That meant they were able to avoid the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Napoli and Leverkusen but they were handed a tough group.

The group stage will start on the week beginning the October 19 and will run through until mid-December as the Hoops prepare for a busy winter schedule.

Neil Lennon's side will be hoping for a repeat of last season as they reached the knockout round, topping their group ahead of Lazio.

Group H: Celtic, Sparta Prague, Milan, Lille.
