Celebrity X Factor viewers slam show as Megan McKenna performs song from album she already released

Celebrity X Factor was meant to be give stars with no singing experience a chance at a career in music, but some will probably have a better shot than others.

Tonight former TOWIE star Megan McKenna, 27, performed her original song Everything But You.

But viewers on Twitter were quick to point out that Megan has already released this song on her debut album Story of Me, giving her an unfair advantage on the other famous contestants.

One tweeted: "I like Megan and she is good and all but I thought the point of #CelebrityXFactor was for those with little to no singing experience, I mean she had a show about going to Nashville to pursue music and she has an album out... #XFactor."

"#CelebrityXFactor fail to mention Megan has already had an album out...." another posted.

A third said: "@Megan_Mckenna_ has had a record contract, an album and single out already."

Another agreed: "Note how #CelebrityXFactor have failed to mention anything about Megan Mckenna's debut album, record deal, tour etc she's had as a country music star! She even went to Nashville to record!"

Louis Walsh was full of praise (ITV)

Despite Megan being far from an amateur, the judges were impressed with her audition.

All four of them gave her a standing ovation.

"Thanks so much for being so vulnerable and brave and to grace us with your story," Nicole Scherzinger said.

Fans thought it was unfair (ITV)

"You have a gorgeous voice."

Louis Walsh said: "To think that you wrote that song yourself is quite incredible.

"I'm really impressed."

Simon Cowell added: "Megan all I can tell you is you've made our job even more difficult."
