Last night the nation settled down for Channel 4's latest episode of Gogglebox.
After the normal version of the show ended for the year last weekend, Channel 4 announced that a new Celebrity Gogglebox would be shown at 9pm instead.
However, viewers were left less than impressed when they realised that the show was a 2020 recap - full of the best bits from the year - instead of a new episode.
Taking to Twitter, fans blasted the show, with one person writing: "How can @C4Gogglebox pass this off as a new episode? Honest question #Gogglebox."
Another disgruntled viewer said: "Hang on. Is this Gogglebox new or.....? #Gogglebox #channel4."
"Repeats. So not 'New' then. #gogglebox," wrote a third.
Somebody else tweeted: " #CelebrityGogglebox I stayed up to watch the advertised 'New: Celebrity Gogglebox' episode and it's a repeat! We've been tricked enough this year. #NotFunny."
Gogglebox: Best of 2020 will air on Christmas day at 9.10pm with a look back at the shows highlights with our favourite armchair critics.
Then the next big episode is the Gogglebox: Festive Special which will see the telly stars watch this year's biggest Christmas TV shows and giving their usual honest opions.
So we will get to see everyone - from Jenny and Lee, Sophie and Pete, the Malones and the Siddiquis - before the New Year. Phew.
