Celebrity Gogglebox: Denise van Outen shocked to learn she might be watching England's Euros final alone

With the England team finally making it to the final of a major football tournament for the first time in 55 years, people up and down the country are gearing up for Sunday's game.

And the stars of Celebrity Gogglebox are no different, with many of them expressing their excitement at a possible England win.

One of those looking forward to the game is TV presenter Denise van Outen who told boyfriend Eddie Boxall that she really does "think it is coming home".

Appearing on the last episode of the show (July 9) Denise said: "I've got a really good feeling. I think we're smashing it."

But just as Denise was explaining how much she was looking forward to the possibility of an England win, Eddie let slip that she might have to watch it alone.

"If you make the final, we can sit and watch it together," she said to Eddie.

But despite the kind offer, Denise was met with awkward silence.

"What?" she said. "You are going to watch final with me aren't you?" Have you planned something?"

"Well I might be going to see some of my mates," Eddie sheepishly replied.

Thrown off by Denise's interest in the final, he then offered to video call her while he was at the pub with her mates. But Denise was having none of it and had to have the final word.

After being asked who he was going to the pub with Eddie replied: "You know: Gilly, Lenny, Pinky."

"That sounds like the Seven Dwarf," she mocked.
