CCTV captures 'horrific' moment man appears to kick cat after it's attacked by two dogs

The RSPCA is appealing for witnesses after a horrific attack that resulted in the death of a cat was caught on CCTV.

The footage appears to show two dogs attacking the cat on the driveway of a house in Treseder Way, Caerau, Cardiff.

As the cat tries to get away a man comes into view and appears to kick the cat with "brute force". The animal's dead body was found shortly afterwards.

The RSPCA said that it happened at around 8.15pm on Sunday, March 24.

Inspector Gemma Black has spoken of her shock after watching the CCTV.

She said: "It appears the cat has been kicked with brute force, like kicking a football, and there can be no excuse for this deliberate attack.

"We are urgently issuing this appeal to see if there are any witnesses to this incident - including anyone who may have seen this individual with his dogs in the area at this time, or anyone able to help us with our enquiries."
