Police investigating an incident in which a woman was sexually assaulted on a train have released a CCTV still of a man they want to speak to.
The incident occurred at around 10.45am on Sunday 27 March between Freshfield and Southport train stations. A woman waiting on the platform at Freshfield was approached by a man who began to make inappropriate sexual comments towards her.
The woman boarded a train and the man followed. During the journey he continued to make sexual comments and sexually assaulted

They both left the train at Southport station. British Transport Police believe the man in the picture may have information that could help their investigation.
