CCTV appeal after more than £2,000 spent on elderly woman's stolen bank card

Police are appealing for information after an 85-year-old woman had her bank card stolen earlier this month.

Thieves spent almost £1,800 on goods and withdrew £250 in cash after pinching the pensioner's card while she was in the Willow Brook Centre in Bradley Stoke on Thursday, April 4.

One of the men police are looking to speak to (Avon and Somerset Constabulary)

Avon and Somerset Constabulary have since released CCTV of two men, both wearing caps and one dressed in a distinctive fluorescent vest, who they are looking to speak to as part of their ongoing enquiries.

Police have asked anyone who may have information on the identities of the two men to contact them by calling 101, and providing the call handler with crime reference number 5219073909.

The other man police are trying to trace (Avon and Somerset Constabulary)

Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on  0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form.

No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers.
