Today the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) finally announced that the results of the class 12 examinations will be out at 2 PM after the exams were postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The board took to their official Twitter handle and announced the result with a meme from Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s iconic film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ where late Amrish Puri and Farida Jalal are seen saying, “Aakhir wo din aa hi gaya (finally the day has come.” “CBSE Class XII Result to be announced today at 2 P.M. #ExcitementLevel% #CBSEResults #CBSE” read the tweet.
Soon after this, netizens took only a little time to flood the Twitter feed with several follow up Bollywood memes. Enjoying the DDLJ twist to the result announcements, a user dropped a screenshot of the hilarious result scene from Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’ that read, “CBSE board students nowadays”.
