Castlemilk fugitive Jordan Owen, 25, appears on Crimewatch 'Most Wanted' list

A man who fled Castlemilk after the the death of Jamie Lee in July 2017 has been featured on Crimewatch.

Jordan Owen, who is wanted in connection with the murder of Jamie Lee in Castlemilk, was included in the programme’s infamous Most Wanted list.

The 25-year-old has been on the run for over two years and Police Scotland are determined to track him down.

Owen vanished shortly after the death of 23-year-old Jamie Lee, from Castlemilk, the show urged people who had information on his whereabouts to contact Crimestoppers.

A European arrest warrant was issued for Owen earlier this year after reports he could be in Spain.

It is the second time Owen has appeared on the crime programme as part of the UK's Most Wanted list.

Owen has also been linked to the shooting of former Cambuslang football manager Paul McColl, who was attacked on February 21, 2018.

Presenter Rav Wilding told viewers that Police Scotland are determined to find the Castlemilk fugitive.

The show' host urged viewers not to approach Owens, who has strong Glaswegian accent and multiple connections across the UK and Tenerife.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jordan Owen are urged to contact police on 101.
