Cassius Winston named Second-Team All-American by U.S. Basketball Writers Association

Award season continues and Michigan State basketball Guard Cassius Winston receives yet another award this offseason. This time, the United States Basketball Writers Association names him a Second-Team All-American for the second year in a row.

Winston has been named Second-Team All-American by the Athletic, the Associated Press, USA TODAY, the Sporting News, and NBC Sports. According to this information, Winston seems to be a consensus Second-Team All-American.

Sure, there are likely fans unhappy about this Second-Team placement. Nonetheless, I am happy to see Winston receive plenty of awards and accolades. He is one of the greatest Spartans to ever grace the basketball court.
