When is Caroline Flack documentary on? Olly Murs sobs as he wishes he could have 'saved' her

Olly Murs breaks down in tears as he reveals he wishes he could have 'saved' Caroline Flack in a new documentary about the late TV presenter which will air on Channel 4 this week.

Caroline, most famous for fronting five series of Love Island, took her own life at her London home on February 15 last year, with her death prompting an outpouring of grief from those closest to her, as well as those she'd worked with and her many fans.

The Voice UK coach Olly, who presented The X Factor with Caroline in 2015, was left devastated by Caroline's death, posted a heartbreaking tribute to the 40-year-old at the time,

Sharing a picture of them from their X Factor days, the singer began the post: "Caz… f*** this hurts! My heart is forever broken.. I’ve lost something today that I’ll never ever get back.. and that’s you and later added: " I haven’t stopped crying since the news, after we stopped working together in 2015 we didn’t see each other as much as we should have but we always spoke on the phone or messaged plus whenever….

“I did see ya out and about, like a sister we’d just kiss and make up and was back being us every single time.

"We always said we was friends for life and trust me you will be with me forever….”

Olly and other friends of Caroline feature in Channel 4 documentary Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death which will air on Wednesday, March 17 at 9pm.

In the trailer opens up on his heartache at her death, saying: "I just wish I could have told her not to do it.

"I never got the opportunity to do that."

The Channel 4 documentary also features Dermot O'Leary and Caroline's mum Christine who can be heard speaking over childhood footage of her daughter, saying: "She was my little girl, it doesn't actually seem real."
