A member of staff at Carole Baskin's animal sanctuary was bitten by one of the animals, it has been claimed.
An incident happened at approximately 8am on Thursday morning at Big Cats Rescue in Tampa, Florida, Hillsborough County fire officials said.
While the extent of the staff member's injuries are unknown, they are expected to survive the attack, according to to reports by WFLA.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) told Mirror Online: "We have received a report of an incident that took place at Big Cat Rescue this morning and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Captive Wildlife section is investigating.
"We will provide additional information as it becomes available."
Baskin, 59, runs the sanctuary, which featured heavily in the hugely successful Netflix series Tiger King.
She shot to fame after the series debuted on the streaming service earlier this year, and then went on to compete in Dancing with the Stars.
Big Cats Rescue is currently closed to the public due to the coronavirus outbreak.
She recently said the sanctuary was losing $160,000 (£119,000) a month in revenue.

Tiger King followed Joe Exotic and his tiger zoo, and his alleged mistreatment of the animals.
It also followed his rivalry with Baskin as she campaigned for an end of the sale of tigers like Exotic's.
Exotic is currently serving a prison sentence for hiring someone to kill Baskin.
He accused her of killing her first husband Don lewis, which she has always strenuously denied.
In 1997 millionaire Don went missing after leaving his home in Tampa on 18 August.
Lewis was declared dead in 2002 but his remains have never been found.
