Carol Vorderman announces mental health disorder on social media

Carol Vorderman has been suffering from mental health issues.

To former Countdown star told her Twitter followers she has been impacted by Seasonal affect Disorder (S.A.D.), but a trip to West Wales has helped to ease the symptoms, reports Birmingham Live.

She said: "Hello my lovelies hope you're well, OMG what a good New Year.

"I'm like a new woman, I think I was suffering from that Seasonal affect Disorder (S.A.D.) cus of lack of light because it never got light in December."

She added: "Had a few days in my beloved West Wales and BOOOOOMMMMM she's back in the room...

"Yeeeeeee haaaaaaaaa

In response, fans of the maths whizz, who lives in Clifton, rushed to reply and support her with their good wishes and comments.
