Carol Vorderman took to social media to share an inspiring post in nothing but her knickers.
The former Countdown star cited some words of advice from Olympian and Boat Race winner James Cracknell as she watched him become the oldest ever victor.
Telling Twitter fans it didn't matter how old they were if they wanted to get physical, Carol shared a pair of snaps of herself in a black Nike vest and lacy black knickers, giving them a glimpse of her chosen "scruffy home gym gear" and incredible toned figure.

Referencing the two knicker pictures – and another of her flying a plane – Carol added: "Eg.Gym at home a couple of summers ago 56yo # swimming # weights # ScruffyHomeGymGear .. and flying my plane.
"Every day is a bonus...living them all with a great big grin".
Fans were quick to flood Carol with gushing comments after she shared the snaps, with one writing: "Looking good Carol," while another enthusiastically chipped in: "Hot damn!!"
The maths whizz is used to being showered with praise online, and has even received a flurry of marriage proposals following her sexy selfies.

The comments come after Carol has been at the centre of multiple racy pictures in recent weeks, taking the bins out in a pair of seriously tight black jeans and imitating Kim Kardashian's iconic 'break the internet' pose just days later.
After spotting the picture of Carol jokily bouncing a champagne cork off her derriere, one fan wrote: "Marry me beautiful," meanwhile, another added: "Bl***y hell. Marry me".
"Jesus Christ just marry me Carol," a third wrote.
Sadly for her potential suitors, Carol is yet to reply to any of the requests.
