Cardinals cut Pete Robertson, 2 others after waiver claims

The Arizona Cardinals announced the addition of five players they were awarded off waiver claims Sunday. They added tackles Brett Toth and Justin Murray, defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard and cornerbacks Kevin Peterson and Charles Washington.

The Cardinals had two open roster spots available so they had to cut ties with three players.

To make rooms for these five additions, they announced the release of running back T.J. Logan, outside linebacker Pete Robertson and inside linebacker Tanner Vallejo.

That leaves the Cardinals with only three running backs and three outside linebackers on the roster, although there is a report they will sign veteran Cassius Marsh, who would play outside linebacker in their defensive scheme.
