Cardiff crash leaves cyclist with life-changing injuries

Cardiff (Geopolitical Entity) Pentwyn

A cyclist sustained life-changing injuries on Friday in a crash involving a car and bike in Pentwyn, Cardiff.

Inspector Mike Prickett said the incident happened shortly after 5pm in Springwood. He said: “The cyclist, a 48-year-old man, was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries," he added. “Anyone with information is asked to us and quote reference 2300162799.”

The road was closed in both directions on Circle Way from Ael-y-Bryn to Pennsylvania before reopening after 7pm. If you have information you can contact police by calling 101 or clicking here.
