Cardiff City will kick-off the 2023/24 Championship campaign with a huge fixture against Leeds United at Elland Road.
The Championship kicks off on the weekend of Friday, August 4, but Cardiff will have to wait for Sunday, August 6 for their first game. The Bluebirds' clash with Leeds will kick off at 2.30pm.
Leeds will be Erol Bulut's first taste of competitive football as a Bluebirds boss, however his first home game will see him pit his wits against QPR on Saturday, August 12.

The first South Wales derby comes early in the season, with Cardiff hosting Swansea City on Saturday, September 16. Although, as ever, that could change for TV purposes closer to the time. The second South Wales derby, the away leg, is pencilled in for Saturday, March 16.
It means that in the first six fixtures of next season, Cardiff take on two teams relegated from the Premier League (Leeds and Leicester City), two teams promoted from League One (Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town), as well as a derby against their bitter rivals.
The Severnside derby fixtures are Saturday, October 28, at home, and Saturday, March 2 away at Bristol City.
For those looking out for the festive fixtures, well, Cardiff are home on Boxing Day for the fifth season in a row, hosting Plymouth on December 26. And it's a New Year's Day trip to west London for Bluebirds fans as they visit Loftus Road to take on QPR in the first game of 2024. Supporters will hope it's not a repeat of the chastening 6-1 defeat at the same venue on New Year's Day 2020.
The season concludes on the weekend of Saturday, May 4, where Cardiff will take on Rotherham United up at the New York Stadium. Given how tasty that fixture became last season due to the controversially abandoned game, if there is anything riding on that game for either team, expect it to be an electric atmosphere that day.
