Car ploughs into boulder after two-vehicle smash on Scots road as emergency crews race to scene

A car has has ploughed into a boulder after a two-vehicle smash in Fife this afternoon.

The motors collided around 2.10pm on the B921 between Bankhead and Stenton roundabouts in Glenrothes.

Photos taken at the scene show two black cars sitting stationary at the side of the road, with one spun at an angle.

One vehicle appears to have pummelled into some large boulders, with the bumper left handing off.

Emergency services raced to the scene this afternoon,

Police Scotland officers and crews from the Scottish Ambulance Service are currently in attendance.

It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured as a result of the crash.

Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.10pm, police received a report of a two-vehicle road crash between Bankhead and Stenton roundabouts in Glenrothes.

"Emergency services remain at the scene.”
