Car 'hits a number of people' outside cemetery in Belfast

At least two men have been injured after a car collided into a number of people outside a cemetery in west Belfast.

Shocking pictures show a crushed blue vehicle and a silver car, as dozens of onlookers remain at the scene, reports Mirror.co.uk.

Three people were taken from the scene to the hospital, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed.

One man has been arrested.

Police, emergency services and fire crews arrived at the scene following reports of a crash at around midday.

Two people who have been injured, but the extent of their injuries is still not known.

PSNI said: "It's understood two men have been injured in the collision outside the city cemetery in west Belfast. The extent of their injuries is unconfirmed at this time."

PSNI said earlier on Twitter: "Police are at the scene of a collision on Whiterock Road, Belfast. Initial reports are that a car may have struck a number of people outside the cemetery shortly after midday. Please avoid the area at present."
