Car flips onto roof following dramatic one-vehicle crash on Scots road

A car flipped upside down onto its roof following a dramatic crash on a Scots road.

The one-car collision occurred on Station Road in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire at around 3pm on Tuesday August 17.

Thankfully no-one was seriously injured in the incident.

It remains unknown whether anyone was taken to hospital.

Pictures from the scene shows the white motor on its roof in the middle of the street.

Police officers arrived at the scene to help manage the flow of traffic nearby but there were no major issues after the accident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a one car collision on Station Road, Blantyre, around 3pm on Tuesday, 17 August.

"Officers attended to help with traffic management.

"There were no serious injuries."
