It can be incredibly satisfying to nab the last parking space in a multi-story after driving round and round, or even in a packed outdoor car park.
However, after you've finished your shopping, or whatever you came out to do, it can be exhausting trying to remember exactly which aisle or level you left your car on.
You might find yourself walking around endlessly without catching sight of your car when all you want to do is get home and put your feet up.
If this sounds like a situation you've faced too many times, then we might have a trick for you that will come in handy next time you can't remember where exactly you parked.

According to an auto expert, there's a little-known hack you can try with your car keys that will save you time searching for your vehicle.
The team at Dick Lovett shared the trick with The Mirror, explaining: "If you're having trouble finding your car in a busy car park, or are unsure where you parked it, you can place the car key fob on your chin in order to increase the range of the car-retrieval signal.
"Effectively, your head turns into an antenna.
"As the head contains fluid, it means it's actually a great conductor and will increase the range of the remote's signal."
The experts also shared a few other tips that might come in handy, including how you can use the sun visors in your car to help de-ice your windscreen faster in cold weather.
They continued: "When your windshield has frosted over, you should put your sun visor down while de-icing.
"It stops the airflow, and therefore means the windshield defrosts faster."
And their final tip was another way you can use your car keys, only this one is all to do with the lock and unlock buttons.
"Holding the unlock button down opens the windows on your car (or roof, on convertibles), whilst holding down the lock button closes them," they added.
"This is ideal during warmer months to avoid getting straight into a hot car. This trick works on many different models and is not limited to one manufacturer.
"All you'll need to do is hold down the unlock button on the key fob, and your car windows will begin to roll down whilst you stand outside the vehicle. For some cars, you may be required to hold down the unlock button once, release, and then hold it down again before it will work."
We gave the hack a go for ourselves and found that it does indeed work - but it won't work for everyone. The key fob trick only seems to work on certain cars, for instance, we couldn't get it to work on a Fiat 500, but it did work with a VW Polo.
