A car has crashed with the back of a bus on a busy road in Newport .
Emergency services responded to reports of a crash after a white BMW collided with a Newport Bus outside the Esso Garage on Corporation Road, Newport .
Gwent Police were at the scene shortly before 12pm and confirmed that there had been no injuries.
A witness said the road was blocked near the garage but police confirmed it has since reopened.
A spokesman for Gwent Police said: "We received reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a bus on Corporation Road in Newport at around 11.40am today (Tuesday, December 31 2019)."
They added: "No injuries have been reported and the road is clear."
