Car 'abandoned' following late night two-car crash at Queen Margaret Drive

Emergency services were called to Queen Margaret Drive last night following a two-car crash.

The incident happened around 10.20pm on Tuesday (July 2), where Queen Margaret Drive meets Kelbourne Street on the edge of the west end.

An eyewitness reported seeing one car "flying out of Kelbourne Street straight into another car" -  followed by four or five people jumping out and fleeing the scene.

Police, fire and ambulance services were all in attendance. Police Scotland confirmed today that no one is believed to have been hurt in the  crash.

An abandoned car has been removed and enquiries are ongoing, a force spokeswoman said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Maryhill station on 101.
