Caprice has been slammed by TV viewers after clashing with a medical expert in a spat over coronavirus.
Weeks after her headline-hitting fall out with Dancing on Ice partner Hamish Gaman, which ultimately led to her quitting the ITV show, the model and entrepreneur was back on screen to feature on Monday's edition of The Jeremy Vine Show to discuss the worldwide spread of the COVID-19 virus.
And she incensed viewers by claiming she knew better than all the medical experts – including Chris Whitty and Patrick Vallance, who have been advising the government on how to cope with the killer virus – because she’d read about how other countries are treating the outbreak in a newspaper.
In a tense argument with Dr Sarah Jarvis, Caprice claimed that she knew just as much about how to deal with coronavirus as health expert because she’d read the facts in a newspaper report.
Dr Jarvis snapped back: “No disrespect, unless you have read every scientific paper and statistical modelling paper that’s come out, you cannot argue with me on that. You can have an opinion but it’s not a fact.”
Standing her ground, a defiant Caprice interrupted: "But I can, I have an opinion," before gesturing at newspaper on her desk and saying: “This is what I’ve read – let me tell you the facts.

Dr Jarvis snapped back: "Which make no difference at all.”
Host Jeremy then interjected to try and calm things down, telling her: “Alright, but Sarah is the expert, but go on.”
“This is from a newspaper! This is from somebody from WHO!” Caprice cried out.
Viewers at home could not believe what they were watching or the stance Caprice was taking. One tweeted: "Caprice” but this is from a newspaper” ffs give me strength," and another reacted: "Caprice on Jeremy vine on 5 needs to leave the building how dare she shush Dr Sarah Jarvis, she needs to shut her mouth!!
