The French Riviera is hosting one of the biggest festivals of world cinema, and we are being treated with some of the greatest outfits of all times. Jury member Deepika Padukone is impressing us one look at a time and she has managed to do it again.
The stunning actor turned up on the red carpet wearing a custom design by Louis Vuitton- a classic black, noodle strapped, low cut bodycon dress encased with feathers. She kept her accessories to a minimal, wearing just a pair of dangler earrings.
Padukone went high on drama with heavily kohled eyes, loads of bronzer and a nude-coloured pout for her makeup. She chose a messy high bun with face framing side strands as her hairdo, serving us some major inspiration.
This was Padukone’s third red carpet appearance this year at Cannes, while attending the screening of Korean film, Decision To Leave. She wore a red gown from Louis Vuitton the previous time, and a sequinned black and gold striped sari from Sabyasachi on the opening day of the film festival. Her looks are being hailed by the international media with the fashion police saying that the actress and her stylist, Shaleena Nathani have managed to nail most of the looks.
Recently, Padukone’s husband, actor Ranveer Singh flew out to the French Riviera to join her at the festival. Pictures of the much-adored couple went viral on social media, showing the Gehraiyaan actor partying with her husband along with fellow jury member, Rebecca Hall.
